Cross Stitch Plus
Meet us
(and take a mini-tour
of our shop) ...
It's like Christmas for Sally whenever UPS brings our Hoffman book order. As a former teacher, she is also a great co-instructor in our classes.
When she's not stitching, Sally enjoys cooking and talking about her new grandbaby.
When Vicki is not packing boxes of wonderful supplies to mail to our customers, she is overseeing our many, many styles of fabric.
When she's not stitching, Vicki can often be found at a music festival, playing piano, or hammering on her dulcimer
Cathy takes care of the little things -- and we do have a lot of "little things" ... beads, charms, clay buttons, brass buttons, "Treasures" ... . Cathy has an artistic eye for adding the right embellishments to your stitching project.
Do you want more little stuff? Cathy also likes petite needles, tiny magnets, "petite mini" Yazzi storage bags, Lizzie*Kate charts, and 40-count fabric (that last one is not true).
When she's not stitching, Cathy enjoys spending time with friends and family (including her three grandchildren).
Karen has been an important part of Cross Stitch Plus since its beginning. Along with Carol and Cathy, Karen puts great pride in making sure our needlework masterpieces are mounted and framed to perfection. Karen has a good eye for helping our customers choose just the right frame and mat.
When she's not stitching, Karen uses her creative talents to make wonderful scrapbooks -- mostly for her young grandsons
Dianne always seems to have a smile on her face (and a needle in her hand). She's been working in the Cross Stitch business since the mid-1980's. Ask her anything -- she can probably help you.
When she's not stitching, Dianne is active in her church activities or walking at the Mall.
Cindy is our newest employee, but she is definately not new to cross stitch. Some may remember her from her days at Count 'n Caboodle (along with Dianne) in the 1980's.
When she is not stitching or scrapbooking, Cindy can be found on all kinds of "adventures". Her current dream is to climb above the treetops and ride a ZipLine.
Carol can usually be found in the back area of the shop either framing, placing new orders, or updating the website.
Carol learned the love of stitching and other crafts as a child from her mother. In 1989 her little cross stitching hobby got out of hand and she opened Cross Stitch Plus.
When she's not stitching, Carol enjoys doing rubber stamping.
